Another Wagner Baby: 21 Weeks

Image
How far along: 21 weeks! Gender: BOY! Weight gain: +8 lbs. Woo hoo! Maternity clothes: I feel like my bump has really "popped" this week! I've been comfortably wearing maternity tops and feeling the most comfortable in maternity tops and leggings! Stretch marks: None from this pregnancy yet!Belly button in or out: Pretty flat these days!Sleep: I've been using magnesium oil (from Swanson) on the tops of my shoulders and sometimes on my feet before bed and I have been sleeping really well. I think some of that 2nd trimester energy is kicking in because I have been waking up feeling pretty well-rested and motivated!Best moment this week: We have been needing to rearrange our apartment to accommodate two kids and all the gear that goes with that and we made a good dent in all of that this week! It feels good to have a good start on our to-do list. I also received my first pre-natal massage this week and it was simply wonderful, I'm definitely planning to make it a re…

Another Wagner Baby: 20 Weeks

How far along: 20 weeks! Gender: I am SHOCKED to tell you that we are having a BOY! I was 100% confident that it was a girl, I was even calling her by her name! I'm not going to lie, there are things about having a little boy that freak me out but I feel so blessed to be having this little man. We decided on the name Levi Allen ('Allen' is after my Dad). It's interesting to read through the old wives tales about gender prediction during pregnancy and see which ones were true for me: dry patches on my face, clumsy, bright urine, cold feet, salty and sour cravings and even though I was still very sick during my first trimester it was significantly less than when I was pregnant with Daphne.
Weight gain: + 3 lbs. so far! Maternity clothes: I'm ready to go shopping for some cute maternity tops! I still wear mostly leggings, regular tops and the same pair of maternity jeans. Stretch marks: None yet, using moringa body butter on my tummy! Belly button in or out: In but ve…

Dear Rhonda...

Dear Rhonda,

I'm still having a difficult time processing the face that you're really gone. I don't want to process it. I want to come home and know that you will be there. You have written me so many prayers, messages and letters over the years that I felt like it was only appropriate to acknowledge the depth of what you mean to me in my own letter.
You saw a crazy Pastor's family at church and for some reason, you loved us. It probably started with my Dad and Mom because at that time, lets face it, I was a bit of a pain in the butt. But you loved us so much and so well. I didn't appreciate it then, I took you for granted. But now that I have my own crazy ministry family, I see how much of a risk you took in loving us.
You meant so much to my Dad. I can't even find the right words to tell you that. Your constant support and love for him and his ministry means more to me now than I ever understood growing up. He knew that you got worship, you didn't just …

Another Wagner Baby: 18 Weeks

How far along: 18 weeks! Gender: I have been saying all along what gender I think we're having, however in our last sonogram appointment our tech guessed the opposite of what I was thinking (although she wasn't entirely sure herself)! So now there is a little bit more drama and suspense for when we find out in a week and a half! I'm so excited!Weight gain: I had a weight check yesterday and I was so confident that I would walk in, get weighed and then get fussed at. But she was actually happy with my weight gain! I'm honestly not really stressed about it anymore, I'm eating frequent meals more because I'm trying to curb the dizziness than I am trying to gain weight. I have gained 1 lb. this week putting my total weight gain at 0, but it's only up from here! Maternity clothes: Maternity jeans, leggings and sweats. I've seen some really cute maternity tops online, but I'm really not big enough yet to splurge on them. Stretch marks: None from this baby…
